About Me

I'm Marisa Muliadi-Kleiber

I am a self-taught artist who has been painting since childhood. Painting has always been a part of my family's life. While I pursued a career as a civil engineer, I continued to paint occasionally. Now, I am dedicated to painting full-time, doing what I love most. I enjoy splashing colors onto the canvas and experimenting with various mediums. As a mixed-media painter, I often incorporate materials found at the sites where I paint, in addition to traditional paints.
I favor bold, bright colors reminiscent of tropical flora and fauna. My work also features blocks of landscapes and urban scenes. I find joy in creating connections between my paintings and your emotions, feelings, and visions. Listening to what my paintings evoke for you is truly rewarding. My motto is to see colors and get connected.

**I have participated in a few collaborative artist exhibitions in San Francisco, displayed 26 paintings during a one-month show at Farley's East in Oakland in October 2010, and held exhibitions at a restaurant and the Contraband coffee shops in San Francisco.

I began developing my website and social media presence in November 2024.
